Who are we?
Created in Wuerzburg Germany, October 2005. The US Military Motorcycle Riders was
discussed prior to the 1ID "Big Red One" deployment to OIF II. Upon our return CSM
Nicholas Rozumny and SFC Carl Corey with others put the ball in motion to start a
Motorcycle Club. We received and started working with the Draft copy of the Air Force and
then the Army Mentorship Program. Within a couple months the Army released the
Motorcycle Mentorship Program initiative. In November, under the direction and support of
our Division Commander, MG Kenneth Hunzeker, the US Military Motorcycle Riders,
Franconia Germany Chapter, USMMR (FGE), was established.
We were approved as a Private Organization in January 2006 with 16 founding members
including Active Duty Army, DoD civilians, Retired Military, Dependents, and a German Local
National friend. We ensured our organization stood up the proper way to the local "Power
Club". The local Motorcycle community embraced and supported our efforts. A well
deserved THANK YOU goes out to the MCs in the Wuerzburg area for your help, guidance,
and support!
In the following months CSM Rozumny and SFC Corey both left Germany for their new
assignment at the Presidio of Monterey and Ft Riley Kansas respectively. The USMMR was
turned over to the new president, CPT Chad Ramskugler from Schweinfurt. Both CSM
Rozumny and SFC Corey took the USMMR with them to establish Chapters at their new
locations with the plan to spread this Army Wide.
That brings us up to today...
3 Chapters up and running
1. The Original USMMR(FGE) Franconia Germany (CPT Ramskugler aka "SKOOGS")
2. USMMR(FRKS) Ft Riley Kansas (SFC Corey aka "REGUL8R")
3. USMMR(POM) Presidio of Monterey (CSM Rozumny)
There is a 4th Chapter in the works at FT Leavenworth, Kansas. USSMR(FLKS)
We are excited about our organization and the possibility to help other posts establish a
Motorcycle Mentorship Program. For more info on an established organization feel free to
contact us. The process can be a long and frustrating one, we have been through it 3 times
and can assist you with your journey.
OUR NAME
Considerations
o Name that would encompass every possible member.
o Name that could be spread World Wide through out DoD.
o Name that represents US Military Values.
o Name that projects a POSITIVE public appearance.
o Name that is recognizable and unmistakable by other MC or RC Clubs,
Organizations, Unit Commands and local communities world wide.
o Name that could not be shortened or abbreviated to create a negative appearance to the public.
OUR PATCH
Considerations
(WE ARE NOT A CLUB AND AVOID THE WORD TO AVOID CONFUSION AND/OR PROBLEMS)
o Patch that would encompass every possible member.
o Patch that could be spread World Wide through out DoD.
o Patch that represents US Military Values.
o Patch that projects POSITIVE public appearance.
o Patch that is recognizable and unmistakable by other MC or RC Clubs,
Organizations, Unit Commands and local communities world wide.
o Patch that works on ANY type of MC gear, vest or jacket for any type rider.
o Member and Location rockers can ONLY be purchased and worn by Active and
Associate members.
o LARGE or BACK PATCHES MUST HAVE APPROVAL FROM LOCAL POWER CLUBS
BEFORE BEING WORN! These large/back patches are also subject to removal at
a new location. We are not a "territorial Club", nor do we have or want
“CLUB” Initiations (hazing) or many other “CLUB” politics. Putting on a back
patch puts you in a whole new world of MOTORCYCLE CLUB politics.
o Patches can only be ordered through a single POC. We do business with an
American company who does not outsource.
explanation of our patch
1. the patch is 4 inches around with a top and bottom rocker that
fit snug against the center part to create a 1 patch design.
2. the top rocker is for MEMBER and is also used to designate
leadership roles (founder, president, road captain, etc...)
3. The lower rocker designates your location (the post you are
stationed at)
Meaning of our patch
1. The Flag, The Eagle, and The Colors- SELF EXPLANATORY
2. Promoting Safety Through Mentorship – This is what the our

events and fund raisers as seen below on our inaugural safety day ride. This patch is 2
inches across.
